RiverTowne Country Club will prove an exceptional venue for your special event. Your guests will appreciate the unparalleled views of Horlbeck Creek and the Wando River from our Southern Plantation style Clubhouse, situated on an Arnold Palmer designed golf course. We provide professional service and delectable cuisine that will allow you to relax and enjoy the event, along with your guests.

The Clubhouse is able to accommodate events from 10 up to 250 guests for a reception using the full clubhouse. The second level of the clubhouse can accommodate 150 guests. A built-in 10’x18’ stage in the upstairs ballroom lends itself as a perfect spot for your entertainment.

A facility fee will apply to all events, as well as a food and beverage minimum required to contract the space. All food and beverage must be provided by Belvidere Club & Resort; however we allow wedding cakes to be brought in by outside vendors. All food and beverage costs are subject to an additional 20% service charge, 8.5% tax, and a 5% liquor excise tax. Rental fees include use of the facility, tables and chairs, white linens, white china, flatware and glassware.

RiverTowne Country Club lawn areas overlooking the marsh and golf course make a unique on-site location for a ceremony or may also be tented for an outdoor venue. Our screened-in patio also makes a beautiful site for ceremonies for 75 or less. An additional fee of $500 is required for all wedding ceremonies. The ceremony fee will apply whether the ceremony is held at the designated outdoor location or if it is moved to an indoor location due to inclement weather.

The Pavilion at Patriots Point


The Pavilion at Patriots Point will prove an exceptionally unique venue for your special event. Your guests will enjoy unparalleled views of Charleston Harbor, Fort Sumter, and the distinctive skyline of downtown Charleston from a euro-style tent overlooking the 18th green of our championship golf course.

Our venue provides you with the versatility to host an intimate dinner or a casual reception. The 4,000 square foot tent can accommodate events for up to two hundred and fifty guests. Our professional staff will provide impeccable service and culinary delights tailored to fit your event. All food and beverage costs are subject to an additional 20% service charge, 8.5% tax, a 5% liquor excise tax. Rental fees include use of the facility, tables and chairs, white linens, white china, flatware and glassware. Rental of the facility with outside catering does not include tables, chairs, white linens, white china, flatware, or glassware.

The Cottages on Charleston Harbor


Belvidere Club & Resort offers you the opportunity to stay at an exclusive collection of quaint cottages located on Charleston Harbor just minutes from downtown. Screened porches and rocking chairs meet with high-speed Internet access and concierge services. Add to that golf privileges at RiverTowne Country Club and Patriots Point Links, and you’ll enjoy a classic Charleston experience every time. With only 9 cottages to choose from, availability is limited. The Belvidere Clubhouse may be rented in addition to cottages for a special event. The Clubhouse can accommodate a reception or party for 75 or less.

Booking an event with catering done by Belvidere Club & Resort:
  • 5 cottage minimum in order to rent the clubhouse and the fee for the clubhouse is $1000


  • If all 9 cottages are rented by the party = no clubhouse rental fee

    • If less then all 9 are rented = party gets a $250 credit for each cottage over the contract 5 towards the $1000 rental fee


    • Example: 6 cottages are rented = clubhouse rental fee is $750 (drops $250 because of the one additional cottage rented over the minimum of 5 contracted)

To book a location on a specific date, an initial non-refundable deposit will be due at the time of the individual contract date. This amount will be applied to the cost of the event. A date is considered booked upon receipt of the deposit and a signed copy of the contract. A second non-refundable deposit equal to 50% of the total estimated cost is due two months prior to the event date. The final payment of the remaining balance is due the week prior to the event.
